La Calera All Stars began with a simple request: a few kids in a small town near Bogotá asked Daniel to teach them basketball. What started as casual lessons quickly evolved into weekly practices, forming a safe and vibrant community for over 50 young players. The program now provides coaching, equipment, uniforms, and snacks, ensuring every child can participate and feel supported.
The club became much more than basketball. For many of the kids, the court offered discipline, friendship, and a space to dream beyond their circumstances. Through teamwork and perseverance, they discovered confidence and purpose, values that Daniel carries with him in every game he plays.
La Calera All Stars is a reminder of why Daniel plays. Seeing others commit so fully to the sport inspired him to pursue his own path with the same courage and dedication. The project continues to grow, proof that basketball can unite, empower, and transform lives.
